Mason Jar Chili

This jar meal is delicious and can be ready to eat in 15-20 minutes! Jar meals are an excellent way to skip the drive-thru.

 
Mason Jar Chili
Cost per serving:  $1.57

Ingredients:
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp oregano                       
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp paprika
1 tsp salt
1 tsp chili powder (or more to taste)
2/3 cup Thrive tomato powder
1 cup Thrive ground beef
1 ½ cups Thrive instant red beans
¼ cup Thrive mixed bell peppers (or green chilis, or both!)
¼ cup Thrive tomato dices (optional)

Add above ingredients to a clean, dry quart mason jar.  Shake ingredients down to fit.  Top with 300cc oxygen absorber.  This meal is shelf-stable in a cool, dry pantry for 5-7 years!

To make:
Bring 6 cups of water to boil in a pan.  Pour all ingredients into pan and stir.  Cover and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.  Top with desired toppings and enjoy!
